Sun wishes you a happy Year of the Rabbit.

Hello 2011!! The new year received a loud, colourful and sparkling Welcome last night. For 2011 I wish us exactly that: Loud, colourful and sparkling days en masse! I already had a first this year: I made a teensy-weensy video. And yes, it's supposed to be blurry. If you don't feel that artsy fartsiness, just imagine you are me. Fireworks looks exactly like this when I don't wear my glasses ;) Happy New Year to all of you!!

I'm driving home for christmas.

Puh, this week is done, advent weekend you may come. I will try to rest a bit this weekend and get back in a christmas mood. Thanks to Emma I'm listening to this nice christmas playlist right now. I had to share it. Wish you all a happy weekend!

I did this illustration last year and since then it made a little journey. First it has been a draft for last year's advent calendar, but didn't make it to the final front. Instead I posted it here last christmas and now inkognito sells it on cards (unfortunately with a type they set without me knowing it and of which I'm not really fond of). But nevertheless, I'm happy about its journey and the final outcome. One can buy normal postcards at inkognito or folded greeting cards at SOS Kinderdörfer.

A quick snowflake I made, while I should do something else. I would like to sleep under a snow blanket too, like all the bushes, fences, roofs and trees do. I imagine it warm and calm and very peaceful. I could collect my thoughts. I discovered two more advent calendars on the web, that are beautiful. One is by Hanna Konola and the other by Thereza Rowe.
