Oh my goodness, I love your blog and illustrations so much! Thank you for your talent! Also, I'm so jealous that you live in Weimar! I love that city. I stayed there for a week in 2007 while I was studying abroad in Europe. It was one of my favorite places... So beautiful and quaint and wonderful food! Is the Christoph Martin still in business? My friends and I ate there almost every day! Danke schoen, Ina!
@ Alisa I already commented on your blog, but maybe someone else is interested in the texture of the cats too: I scanned in a paper which I covered randomly with black ink (stretched with a bit water) and then changed the colour of it in Photoshop and multiplied these two.
veryvery nice.

AntwortenLöschenHi Ina,
AntwortenLöschenI found your site through Shivana's owl calendar project.
Just wanted to say hi, your submission is one of my favorites.
He's super sweet. : ) Alisa
ps. Love your cuddle cats too. How did you achieve the lovely texture in the pink cat. It has a gorgeous lithographic look.
