Ganz frisch erschienen im Moses Verlag: Das Kartenspiel »Die unglaubliche Geschichte, wie die Mücke zum Elefanten wurde«. So etwas mag ich ja immer gern: Dinge illustrieren, die es so nicht gibt. Hier also die Verwandlung einer Mücke zum Elefanten.
Out now: A card game that I illustrated. The title is: »The awesome story how the mosquito became an elephant« which refers to a German proverb, similar to the English one: Making a mountain out of a molehill. It was fun to illustrate the transformation of a mosquito into an elephant.

Billy

Ich kuratiere noch bis Samstag die Facebook-Seite »Ich mach was mit Kinderbüchern« und gewähre einen kleinen Einblick in meine Arbeitswoche. Man kann z.B. sehen, wie die Illustrationen für Billy Backe 2 entstehen: Reinzeichnung am Lichttisch und dann in Photoshop kolorieren.

Already?

Oh, oh, es ist ja schon wieder März! Mein kleiner Blog wurde etwas vernachlässigt. Momentan findet man mich eher bei Instagram oder Facebook. Trotzdem hier noch ein hinterhergeschobener Einblick vom Januar und Februar: Da gab es einige Belege, die eintrudelten. Viele Entwürfe für neue Bücher. Ein paar Geburtstag-Tage am Meer und erste Frühlingsanzeichen.

I've been more on Instagram or Facebook lately and have been neglecting this little bloggie here a bit. So sorry! Here is a mix from the last 2 months. Some copies arrived. Many sketches for upcoming books were made and some days were spent at the sea. Oh, and tiny glimpses of spring were seen as well.
